Thank you all for your kind comments. The weather was suddenly much colder than in recent weeks so I didn't hang around. My board was propped in my hatchback at the roadside. I'd seen a plein air painting by Shirley May earlier that day and I thought I'd better just get on with it. I often think that, the more difficult the conditions, the better the work.
