Durham Mist

Durham Mist

Nice painting of Durham from the Observatory - well done. I am not sure about the purple on Penshaw Monument and the distant escarpment - a little too warm I think.

Know it well in the mist having once lived near and visited earlier in the year and someone is building a Lego version of it inside. I like the way you have included the distand monument, the name of escapes me at the moment. The slight colour change to the distance is exceptional

Thanks Malcolm, Penshaw monument and I like that subtle change to purple.

Another great painting Rob, Lovely colours
