What a great interpretation of this castle Robert. I like the detail in this beautiful painting and the sky is wonderful!

You have brought the ruins alive - beautiful lighting and sky.

Thank you Margaret and Robert, this is one of my favourite places although there are only a few ruined bits of the castle visible today the site is spectacular.

You always portray your work with an enigmatic romantic feel. Just waiting. For the prince & princess to emerge Robert. Love the softness of this painting.

Thank you Carole

My take on how the castle may have looked in the early 14th century under English occupation. Oil on canvas 50x40 cm.
