Hi thanks Malcolm you are right the sketch is in fact of Robin Hoods Bay don't know why I scribbled Staithes on the back of it, muddle headed again probably. This small postcard sized sketch was done a few years ago when we spent a couple of weeks exploring up and down the coast and inland from our base at Browns caravan park at Cayton bay, fabulous time and lots of sketching. Thanks Carole, the figures were put in for effect but yes very brisk in the North sea wind :-)
