Sleeping Beauty

This is beautifully painted and full of interesting details. Love the view from the window and the positioning of the woman's hand - so natural. I keep finding so many things of interest, such as the little rug under her feet with that slight shadow. Great painting Robert.

Thanks Heather. The snake, was it hiding in the box? Has it bitten her? Why the teddy Bear? Its all symbolism I guess, Except for the main subject I never really think about it when painting, there's usually loads of changes made along the way and the painting sort of just grows, weird bits and all.
