Great painting Rob. The gulls top it off a treat. Paint on mate.

Agree with Chris, a smashing watercolour - lovely feeling of light - gulls are good too. Great, Jeannette

Lovely competant use of watercolour - very atmospheric - look forward to seeing more of yours! Peter

oh this is amazing, watercolour is the hardest media and you are a master at this, your skys are peticulaly good, where are you from Rob? I was born in the N.E but now near York. Looking forward to see more.

Another beautiful one Rob, just as a watercolour should be. Very atmospherique.

Hi Jennifer, Thanks again for your comments. I'm from Co Durham lived here all my life and love the North East area, The north yorkshire coast is a favourite of mine as well as northumberland, cumbria, anywhere in the north the sky's here are perfect for watercolour that's what I think.

Lovely treatment of a difficult subject using a difficult medium. Have you seen the work of David Bellamy, this is very reminiscent of his handling of watercolours in his studies of the Pemrokeshire coast and Snowdonia. Have you exhibited at all?

Hi Joe, Thanks again for your comments. I do exhibit all over the North of England, I have paintings in private galleries and entre most of the big exhibitions.
