Fallen bough

Seeing the result of this scanned sketch, I am disappointed that the green grass and blue water were obviously too light to show up!

What a shame. Perhaps they colours would come out if you photographed it. it looks to me as if a bit of one of the twigs in the top right hand corner also has not shown up.

Thanks for your comments Sian. The twig you mention at top righthand corner is in fact a tree trunk and the continuation in the water is the shadow, but perhaps I have not made this clear enough.
