Grasmere by Robert David Bratton

This looks familiar to me - have you posted it before, or is it one of those paintings you just feel you've known all your life? I like the looseness of it, anyway - particularly after struggling with a rather tight painting of my own.. The colour is fabulous.

Lovely muted and misty landscape., I do like the gentleness of the palette which makes an interesting contrast with the strength and majesty of the landscape.
