Lovely work - super use of lines and marks.

I like it very much - as a work in its own right. Love the colours and the drawing

Love your wild use of colour and dynamic drawing.

Agree with all, why bother with acrylic Robert, this is such an excellent coloured pencil drawing of this scene and so eyecatching that it sings out from out from the screen, what more can you ask!

This is lovely Robert and so different.

Nice work Robert, I especially like the way you have handled the trees. I haven't tried coloured pencils for ages, must have a go.

Coloured pencil on pen & ink. Sketched on location as a study for a future acrylic painting.

About the Artist
Robert David Bratton

I took up painting in 2007 as a relaxation, prior to retirement in 2009, never having attempted art in any form since leaving school. My preferred medium is acrylic, usually on canvas, but I have also experimented with oils, watercolours, pen & ink/coloured pencil.
