We often paint lakeside at Rydal Water when I'm teaching art breaks at Rydal Hall near Grassmere in Cumbria as its so close to the hall and a favourite with students. Easy to get to and with fabulous views this was one of those days I revisited after the course and finished my demo painting with pastels.
