This is really lovely Rob. I love the variegated sands, the beautiful sky and the foam on the crest of the waves.

Watercolour, 39 x 28 cm. This is a commission to celebrate an engagement on East Beach, Lossiemouth. I did this largely from imagination, bringing the water closer to the sea breaks than I'd seen, to get a composition I wanted. Only a week or so later, I was passing (my dentist is just over the water from here!) and the water level was just like this! It was nice to see I wasn't too far out, but even if I was, I'd rather have the composition I want than go with the reality...
