I like that very much, Richard!

Thanks for your positive comment David.

Simple yet so effect Richard as the saying goes less is more .

Cheers Paul. I studied tree tutorials for this because in the past my pine trees have been more silhouette.

A super pen and ink drawing, Richard. Great pen-work on the trees.

This brings many memories. Those screes (actually quarry spoil) on ascent are unforgettable! Be in the Lakes shortly but probably not on Castle Crag. Well drawn with your usual economy of line and recognisable style, Richard.

I really like these trees, Richard - just the right amount of detail.

Lovely pen and ink

Thanks everybody for you always welcome and constructive comments, Appreciated. We shall be in Keswick for 2 nights end of May, Frank, chiefly for a car service ( any excuse !) then South Lakes 4 nights in June.

Lovely pen and ink work, Richard, in your distinctive style.

Great stuff and very evocative of a special place (I will be there at the end of this month all fingers crossed!!)

Be in Newlands ten days end of April so our paths won’t cross, Richard. Pity.

Thank you Jenny, Sarah and one day Frank, oh paths may cross. Think we all agree, Roll On !!!

Mean our paths - hate predictive text !

Excellent Richard, the trees are super and I like how you have included and drawn the slates/stones in the foreground.
