A cute little sketch

I like magpies but I always hope I see more than one. Members of the crow family are very intelligent. I think magpies are harshly thought of sometimes. I like your sketch. I once did a sketch of a duck with pigeon feet. It's on the sketching forum, my ribs crack when I look at it.

My favourite bird Richard, no matter how many! I always say “good morning Mr. Magpie” when I see one or more……hoping it cancels the bad luck.

Thank you Jenny and yes a touch of colour to me always "perks up" a pen & Ink drawing / sketch. Don't talk to Magpies Fiona, but we do have conversations with Cats and Sheep. 😀

Tho corvids (crow family) are the most intelligent of birds so perhaps your magpie needs a large head to hold all that brain!
