Venice from the Hotel Splendide
A pastel study painted en plein aire on a Venice trip (when I could afford such trips). I was asked by those stepping on to the jetty if I sold art and I answered 'yes'. The original was sold for of Kids for Kids, an amazing charity run by Patricia Parker, and went towards implanting trees, providing water pumps and supplying goats (kids) with lifelines in the poorest nation on earth, Darfur. However, I have the digital file so giclee guaranteed prints can be made as a limited edition of 300 for £300 each.
