This is attractive, the problems I see with it though are to do with the direction of the light = it's obviously coming from the right, yet you have a quite bright wall where a shadow ought to be, just beneath the church tower. If it appears like that in reality, it would still be better to tone it down a tone or three; a purplish tone would have done it. Having done that, it would be a good idea to enhance the brightness of one of the roofs, eg that to the right of the blue=ish slate of the church roof. Sometimes you have to adjust reality to what makes sense in tonal terms.

I wanted to capture the essence of an English country village on a summer's morning, with red rooves and a church, a village pond and a mass of flowers. All is well with the world. Maybe a bit twee, but also something that is deeply spiritual and essential. It is done in artisan water mixable oils and is 20 inches X 24 inches.
