hi Peter :-) thanks so much for commenting and looking at my paintings :-) it was difficult to find an off whitey grey colour for the duck that was opaque, i know it may look a little bit coloured like the water........ it was a first sort of :-p

This is an attempt at capturing a male Mallard duck :-) i used chinese ink with calligraphy pen to outline it. Brusho watercolours were used as they were to hand :-) anything wrong with it? advise on any improvements is welcome :-)
