Rebecca, there is a certain charming naivete about you work which can grow on you. And you obviously enjoy painting! If you want to develop your skills or just want some inspiration, go to www.thepaintinganddrawingchannel.co.uk where you can watch various demos, all free of charge and which change fairly regularly. By the way, thank you so much for your remarks on my most recent posting. They were very much appreciated.

Excellent stuff Rebecca, love that sky. Perhaps the pic could be improved by removing one of those trees so that you dont have that wodge of timber across the pic blocking entrance to the distance and giving more depth to the pic. best Mick

Hi Lionel, thank you for looking at my work and for commenting. I appreciate your advice and thank you for the website. You are very welcome, your artwork is lovely. :-)

Hi Mick, thank you for looking at my artwork, i appreciate you commenting and your advise about less trees. As i have mentioned before on another painting, i do not think when i paint, and do not know what will be created until it is created, if that makes sense. :-) thank you.

I like the happy atmosphere conveyed here Rebecca, a lovely sky.

Hi Carole, thank you for taking the time to look at my artwork and for commenting so nicely, i appreciate it :-)

Watcha Rebecca, 'i do not think when i paint' A great artist, Michaelangelo, I believe, once said something along the lines of - an artist wotks with his brains, not with his hands. It is fine just putting things down as you work, but often a more structured outlook is better, sometimes not and the spontineity wins the day. best Mick

mmmmmmmm i guess that sort of makes sense Mick............ :-) i did not know Michaelangelo said that, cool. I am afraid i do not work with my brain either :-) I like your comments, thank you for looking at my artwork and commenting.

You have such charm in your paintings, the colours and your figures are very nice. I can tell that you love painting. This infectiousness shows through. As you learn new things make sure that you don't loose that charm. It is easy to get bogged down with how to do this or do that in the right way. It is all a wonderful journey through watercolour, and I wish you all the best.:)

Hi Sarah, your comments have really made me smile, thank you. Yes i do love painting, and i am pleased you can tell. :-) i guess you have noticed i like to do things my way and no one else's as i feel i end up doing their style of work and not mine, if that makes sense. thank you again for your kind comments.
