Tal-y-Llyn by Ray Beaumont
Tal-y-Llyn sits at the southern end of the Cadair Idris mountain area in mid Wales. This sketch was made on a cheap A5 pad whilst enjoying a "pie and pint" outside a very convenient hotel/pub situated at the western end of the lake (llyn). The lake is famous as a fly fishing venue. The foothills of Cadair Idris rise to the left in this scene, with the pass towards the town of Dolgellau in the distance.
