This is similar to an earlier smaller painting I did but this is carried out on a large scale. 36"x24". This and the earlier painting is now being used as a taching aid for students in the USA. The relief sections are made by painting and fixing random shapes of polystyrene sand was added to the paint to add areas of texture. There will be a step by step account of this work in progress on my website very soon
