Doesn't look overworked to me Sarah, I like the texture you have created here, allowing the paper to show through in places. Must dig out my pastels again. I do find them quite relaxing to use, compared to watercolour.

On Canson paper. I took up Dennis' idea of pastelling one of his scenes. Although mine is overworked and I should have stopped ten minutes sooner it was enjoyable to do. Thank you Dennis for allowing us to copy your painting.
