I haven&#39;t tried that card, but I will give it a go Sarah, this is a beauty, you&#39;ve inspired me to get the pastels out again.

Thank you for commenting Lynne and Alan. I bought this pad of various coloured pastel card a while ago but just fancied doing a quick scene. It was either that or ironing!

Wonderful colours and light here Sarah ; drawing board is always to be preferred above ironing board, well chosen.

Thank you everyone for your great comments. I love using pastel but it doesn&#39;t like me much and I don&#39;t get them out as much as I would like to because my hands get itchy and I breathe far too much of it in too. Even so I still prefer it to ironing which is what I must do now :(

Real lovely glow to this. The purple/yellow blending in the tree is gorgeous. Well done indeed.

Super painting Sarah

This has a wonderful feel to it.

Mmmmm......serenity Sarah. There are some gorgeous touches in this Sarah, small things but they have such impact. The far dark banks against the glow of the refelction, and the foreground stump sticking up out of the water...well, perfect!
