internet connection is a sod lately due to the snow, sorry for not getting back sooner, but yes i do really like this painting of yours and at the moment is my favourite of your paintings :-)

Not surprised you got a lot of comments on this Sarah, its really good, the effect of the sun over the hill is great and lights the scene beautifully, and the way you shaped the rocks is great as well.

Love this Sarah..dont know much about water colour but this stands out as tho its one coulour is this to do with Washes??

Thank you Charles for the nice comment! With watercolours you put down the lightest washes first and then add the darker colours, which is back to front to using oils! I most prob used Raw sienna , ultramarine, burnt sienna and umber but so long ago I might have missed out some colours! I hope that I explained it ok!
