Bright and breezy Sarah. The bird adds interest the foreground. The figures add depth and scale to the middle ground. Beautiful reflections.

Agree you've really made me improve

Thank you Kal and Denis for the lovely comments! Dennis, it's the paper, I've just tried a watercolour on 140 lb normal paper and was disappointed with my efforts. I think that if you are heavy on the water then Khadi is the best for you. It certainly is what I shall be sticking with for a while :) and I'm not even a representative of their Company! LOL!

You're getting some super effects with this paper Sarah, especially the washes, as in the reflections and sky.

Nice work Sarah that paper seems to work for you ,and I'm so glad .

Wonderful glowing colours in the trees and the reflections in the water are just beautiful. The paper does seem to add a lovely texture to the painting - I must get some and have a go with it.

Lovely Autmn shades, Looks good paper too.

Fiona, Dennis, Thea and Carole a very big thank you for your comments. It means a lot :)

Lovely watercolour Sarah and I love the duck in the foreground. It just sets it all off.

Thank you Dorothy :)

This is lovely, Sarah! I like the way the colours have mingled. There is a nice feeling of light in the scene.

Thank you Geraldine :)

Watercolour on Khadi paper. I'm still a huge fan of Khadi paper, it soaks up a lot of pigment and leaves a sturdy painting once dried. Appro 8"x6".
