Very positive and experienced hand Sarah, lovely drawing.

This is great Sarah, i cannot ever do portraits. I like the furry boots too :-) I agree with Paul's comment too, about you having an experienced hand. The drawing is perfect :-)

Paul and Rebecca , Happy New Year to you too and thanks for the lovely comments. Rebecca, don't look at her hands!!! They did not come out too well, they look like twigs :}

hi sarah thank you for your comment on my drawing , you have a perfect drawing here but i see a little problem i have my self which is the hard lines around the arms and legs , i came across 5 pencil method on you tube he has lots of free tips there , and as i said you have a lovely drawing looking forward of seen more

Tony , thank you for your advice. I'm an avid viewer of art trailers on you tube and I will definitely be looking out for the one you mentioned. Especially if they are about sketching hands, I always find them very difficult :)

This is good Sarah, lovely detail, and seeing in above reply to Tony's comment you said you dont like drawing hands, they were of course the first thing i looked at when glanced back at the drawing, had a little smile when i realised how you got round the problem by having her fold her hands in her lap so you did'nt have to draw them! Made me think back to a few paintings on the site where people have avoided drawing feet, on people and animals by having them standing in long grass, the ideal solution!

Too true Ros! Tony' tip was very good too. Hands are a nightmare :)

I used non waterproof ink on cartridge paper to draw Hannah. I just loved her furry boots :) C&C welcome .
