On the forest floor

What a nice way to create a painting, and the doggies benefit too! I like the composition and your colour choices. The pen lines work really well with the watercolour and give added texture. Very nice! Perhapsl I should get up of my bottom and take my dog out - rather than leaving it to my husband!

Julie- I'm trying to tire out a very young dog and at the same time I have to slow down for my 15 year old terrior so I look a sight as I go by being stretched in the middle of my two dogs :). Christine- I have just looked up Angie Lewin. How lovely her work is so thank you for the compliment, and she is a Norfolk gal so I will look out for her exhibitions to go to. Just caught this before it fell off the page. It has a sort of mystical feel to it. Love that poppy.

It's all been said. It was the rich colours and composition that attracted me to the thumbnail. It has a good feel to it.
