Beautiful and lively painting, Sarah. Well done. I never used HP paper, is it easy to work on? I always have NOT (cold pressed) paper.

Glad to see you back Mia and thanks for the lovely comments. I find the HP paper is alot smoother and the watercolour can explore the paper more. I find the cold pressed paper good too, but the paint' stays put 'more. This is from someone who prefers to paint on cartridge paper, therefore I am probably not the best person to ask. The smoother the paper the better I find it :) All the best Mia :)

A bunch of summer roses painted on Saunders hot press paper. A favourite paper for me at the mo, as I like to see the colour run down and makes marks of its own.
