A walk through the glade

love this work Sarah your control of colour is excellent the combination of palette knives and brushes works really well creating a delightful texture.Their is an overall glow to this painting and the figures really create added interest

I can only echo what David has said Sarah, a love work, I do like the way the contrast between the fore and background gives a real sence of depth to the painting along with a great pallette , I like the two small grey areas in the background trees like archways, virtually inviting you to walk through, nice one.

Another trail blazer. I like the subtle colouring Sarah, and I am a great lover of palette knife painting. Not sure about that very bright area up on the left hand corner. It could be the photo. Anyway it takes the eye away from the subject. If you cover it up you will notice how the central subject and its tones do intensify and push the figures out. Have a good day.

John thanks for the advice about the lighter part of the sky. The camera had intensified it but I followed what you suggested and ,yes! It really does pop the figures forward. A real gem of advice .
