The one line, not looking at the paper technique makes for interesting shapes doesn't it? I imagine you have to look hard at what you're drawing and trust that the line goes in the right direction! Good result here and I shall try it..

Well done Sarah, it is interesting to see what happens isn't it and so difficult not to look! I've had a go at the challenge and was actually pleasantly surprised when I did look, it stops me 'fiddling' which is a good thing!

Nice work Sarah, I've only just caught up with the portrait challenge but will have a go at this too!

Hi Sarah you know i think Thea has hit on something here. It looks very modern and it works i doubt if you would have got this while looking. I'm impressed try some more see if they work ,well done Sarah .

Thank you all for your comments! Louise, it ran away with me, I think that the best thing to do is to look down occasionally but I do like the quirkiness of the image! Christine, you are right! It does stop us fiddling and I think that the pictures benefit from that and Debs, have a go! It is strangely fascinating to try it but you will be pleased with the results. All the portraits came out so well in a quirky sort of way :)

Dennis! It is a strangely fascinating way of drawing and, yes I think I will try some more but I will also look down occasionally too! You must try it! I'd love to see the results :)

Well done Sarah! I love the shape of the houses and the red car is cute!! Very interesting results!!

Thank you Satu! Please have a go! I would like to see what you create:)

Interesting and I like it. I will take up the challenge in due course.

Thanks Gudrun, I will look forward to seeing yours in due time too :)

A wonderful semi- abstract in it's own right. I love it! Such an interesting way to draw and it is producing very interesting results.

Thanks to you Thea as it was your idea! It has proved to be a very successful challenge. Very enjoyable too!

That looks like fun Sarah. Great shapes, would make a super abstract. I was absent for a while so I missed the grand finale of your personal painting challenge. What happened to them as I can't seem to find them?

Lots of fun Val , you must have a try :) .Re my 30 paintings in 30 days challenge, well the good news is that I finished it but the bad news is that I accidently deleted my 2014 portfolio on this site! Thank you for the interest in it, I could re upload the lot but that would be boring for everybody to see them pop up yet again on the Gallery. All the best!

A fascinating result, Sarah, and a delightful one! I like the rather contemporary take of this piece.

Thank you Seok! I'd really like to see your take on this challenge! You would do a super job!

From one line portraits to one line landscapes! One line on the paper and also not looking down ! This is supposed to be over the road. It looks as if we have had an earthquake! Please feel free to join in!
