Still Life with oranges by Val Kenyon

Val, thanks for your comments re Sunrise on the Groyne. I hadn't noticed your oil paintings - your still life is very well done. Before taking up painting I would admire something like this it isn't easy to do. Very well done indeed. Jeannette PS Glad you find the Inktense pencils good. Thanks for your comments Val. Among other paintings I do love this little still life. Simplicity of the subject and not an easy one to execute !

Can almost feel the engraving in the glass and the texture in the lace - love the subtle reflections in the glass table top ( or it could simply be a highly polished wooden table)

I agree with everyone's comments on this Val, mega good glass bowl and lace mat under it, the detail in those is really excellent and the black background sets everything off
