It's very important to paint for yourself Alelsha, but really difficult and we can be so easily sidetracked into producing what we think people wish to see. This is a lovely painting and I hope you will be spurred on to produce many more.

In case it wasn't obvious, this is a naritive piece based around Alice in Wonderland. This is mixed media and collage, finished with oils and alkyd glazes. This has a lot of organic collage; ferns, leaves, flowers so it will disintegrate quicker and by doing so, it will continue to change over time.
