Lovely dog Alesha and some beautiful textures. Perhaps you could tell us the medium you use for each painting.

Lovely painting Alisha my old dogs nickname was Spike , well done.

Oil or acrylic, or something else? Either way this is excellent.

Thank you so much for your comments, after finally plucking up the courage to post my pieces your comments have made it worth while! This was done on a base of tissue paper glued onto canvas then acrylic and oil with LOADS of glazes! I'm pleases to say, he loved it!

I've been through the gallery several times and this keeps jumping out at me...it's the eyes that do it! Spike seems to be communicating with us through your painting! He seems to be wanting to get away but knowing he's supposed to keep still and not knowing if he likes it or not! Lovely use of colour...but it's those eyes that win me! Brilliant painting!

Have just looked at your gallery. Really like your work and your 'story'. This dog is super and, boy, those eyes!
