Keep 'em coming John! this is super...again...longing to get at my oils and knife after a month of tiny wcs!!! Love the light beyond the trees, and the sharpness of the trunks. Really good!

Beautiful scene, beautifully painted, John. I’d love to try oils, but haven’t got a clue how to start.

Great knife work, John, and an excellent title . That little bit of shade looks so welcoming right now. Beautiful colours and attractive foreground flowers. A gorgeous meadow. Brian

Lovely to study John, looking at all the different marks and textures. Very attractive, captures perfectly the feel of a sunny summer's day - Ican even hear the bees.

I love these views of sunshine through the trees and this is a beauty John. Great texture.

Nice work John!

Love this John, the light behind the trees is wonderful and the foreground looks so good.

A little bit of a great painting, methinks.

You have a wonderful technique with the palette knife, John. It all works so well in this painting, which sings of a hot summer's day.

I do like the simple composition of the trees, it works well. Another cracking piece John.

So attractive John, love it.

This caught my eye, especially with the light behind the trees and the marks worked into the paint. Good one John.

Thank you all very much indeed folks. Your comments give me great encouragement with my knife painting adventure.

Love this composition John with the sunlight behind the trees. Such delicate marks on the delicate wildflower meadow in the foreground compared to the middle and background. You are the master of the palate knife!

This is wonderful John. I recognised your style immediately. So good for such a small painting.

Hello John. This is an absolute cracker. Love it

Only just caught up with this lovely painting John. You certainly are getting better and better with the painting knife. This one certainly deserved top line.

Oil Palette Knife painting. 10x8 inches on canvas board. Gradually finding a better and better working relationship with the palette knife. This super sunny weather giving good material for painting.
