Lots to like in this lovely painting John

I like your athletic gull, turning for a closer look at you.

Love the great height of the cliffs you have portrayed and the movement of the foreground gull, John.

An interesting and unusual coastal painting- beautifully painted!

Good perspective here John, unusual viewpoint.

Thank you POL folks for your comments which are very much appreciated.

Very impressive

Beautiful John. I had a fledgling running around my kitchen the other day. The seagulls nest on the neighbourhood rooftops. After a big commotion involving my three dogs and the parents of the fledgling swooping down trying to attack all. The fledgling was safely returned to the top of my studio. After some rest it found its wings.

Fabulous composition John, a very impressive cliff!

Thank you Russell. Interesting story Denise with a happy ending. Thank you.

Fascinating juxtaposition of a "normal" landscape with a bird at the bottom and grass at the top !

Wonderful gnarly cliffs and I love the seagull.

Lovey perspective

Excellent perspective capturing the majesty of the cliffs with the bonus of seagull with its brakes on!

A very effective‘ wrong way round’ composition John. Love the very elegant seagull. Beautiful sense of movement.

Like this, lovely work !!

I'd love to see cliffs like these in real life. It's beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
