Yes John multi talented I can see the enjoyment a beauty

John, is there no end to your talents? This piece is wonderful. You say 'fired to 1100cc'. Was it one firing? I'm thinking of the splendid colours, I've always assumed you added colour (glazes) AFTER the 1st firing. (But my assumptions are often wrong). Do you have you own kiln?

Thanks Dennis and Lewis. Yes Lewis one firing and I did have my own kiln. No glazing involved here. After firing overpainted with white acrylic then painted with acrylics. Quite a lot of over glazing with the paint work though.

John, a man of many talents. These two are super.

John, these are wonderful, you have a real skill with the clay

This looks fantastic John, would take pride of place if on my mantle piece.

Wow John this is fantastic, beautiful detail.

'Ey up! what's all this John? Brilliant you are so versatile, a beautiful piece.

A man of many talents indeed. Lovely work.

Thank you Sandra, Sylvia, Annie, Barry, Linda, Carole, and Andre. Your feedback is very much appreciated.

This is great, John. What size is it? (Would like to see one or two of your birds.)

This is beautifully modelled John, it must have taken quite a time to produce this lovely piece. I've done a little with cold porcelain but never tried clay.

Thank you Margaret. Your comment is appreciated. Jenny The size if I recall is about 9 inches long and 7 inches high, but could have been a little larger. I will see if I can sort out birds, but it will have to be in the new year now.

Beautiful piece John, great colours and detail.

Such realism and beauty of movement captured. I love the attention to detail.

Ceramic, fired to 1100C then painted with acrylics. They work out a bit expensive but managed to sell this piece last year. I have always loved clay . Done lots of birds in clay as well.
