Anytime one comes to Wales it's hard not to be inspired John, and these rolling Welsh hills are reminiscent of the offals dyke path....wonderful.

Love that almost surreal style of the painting, John. Super use of shapes and spaces and a lovely palette.

Well there's interesting John, a splendid full of colour painting and that brave addition of red in the centre it really takes your eye in there. But not the Welsh Wales I am sitting in the middle of at the moment... soft blues and greys and a lot of brown mud . So you give me hope for a few days next summer.

Gorgeous highlights in this John. Wales is Wonderful for its scenery, as beautiful as anywhere in the British Isles!

Beautiful luminous light John

Beautifully done John. Great light and I love the shapes.

Love this surreal landscape John! It has an almost luminous quality with those vibrant greens!

Love the shapes and abstract feel to this John - the luminous green in the foreground makes it really vibrant.

Nice colours in this simplistic view of the hills John.

Thank you Andre, Seok, Sylvia, Ruth, Dennis, Henry, Chandra, Jenny and Carole. Your comments are very much appreciated.

Different for you John but I like it, in particular that shot of red in the centre it makes you look. Am I right in thinking that Mr Turner did a similar thing in one of his paintings?

Ellen it was Constable. A small spot of red in a painting tends to pull things together, and also creates a focal point for the eye to rest on.

Thank you John. I've learnt something. I may keep it in mind.
