View of Tay Bridge taken from a boat used to convey workmen on and off the bridge for repair work. Under these circumstances I was able to receive good quality and exclusive photos to work from as opposed to stock imagery or snaps from land. I painted this in oil pastels built up the layers of colours using spray fixative. It took several attempts to achieve the desired effects. It was a present for a friend for his 50th birthday who was delighted with it and has it on his wall.
