Thanks Frank, and you're the first person to point out the floating aspect. I generally focus on the subject when doing portraits and the background is simply that. I appreciate your perspective. Cheers, Peter

A Pet Portrait completed in Acrylics on Canvas 18" x 24" for my daughter Brooke of her two rescue Doxies. The big one is Beau and the miniature is Ivy. Beau did not settle into the home and still had issues and so we had to send him back, but Ivy is still around at 12 years old, and she's a great addition to the family.
