Petra, this is so beautiful! I have been staring at it for a long time and tried to work out your method of painting. How on earth did you paint that spilled water on table? Or is it sand? Whatever, it's stunning!!!

I have said this before, I am not a fan of still life, but yours, particularly this one, takes it to a new level. It takes a lot of imagination to make a paperweight intriguing.

OIl on linen. 50 x 50 cms. Bought this paperweight at a local garden center. I love of the different shapes inside.
