I saw those reflections and knew it was one of yours straight away. Beautiful shine on the fruit and those leaves look so paperlike and fragile. Great work Petra.

Physalis are a joy in still life. The deceptive fragility of the decaying flower around the sudden emergence of the autumnal berry. This one is also glorious for it's wonderful composition with reflections and perfect background colours. It's magnificent.

I really must pay more attention to POL and in particular your lovely postings. I am going to run out of superlatives fairly quickly - this is another beautiful study and the balance of the image is just right. I really like your mirror reflected still life paintings - the mirrors add greatly to the composition. Super.
