Sulby View (Isle of Man)

Sulby view22f1

Love how you’ve painted this Peter by leaving some of the white paper showing and giving the painting a sparkle. Beautiful use of light and shadow and I love the rich, foreground, colours.

This really stood out, lovely painting.

A lovely watercolour; a different landscape but with your signature buildings at the heart.

Lovely painting. The houses really stand out against the rich colours of the landscape.

An absolutely stunning view and painting.

I think this is really good Peter, I really like your use of colour and the composition is great too.

A stunning painting and the use of green is so good!!

Thanks Carole, Denise, Andrew, Christine, Chris, Heather & David for your kind, encouraging comments!

This one made me stop and look again. Some lovely colours, and a great sense of depth.

Wonderful use of colour and boldness of style Peter

A great scene Peter. I really like how you’ve blended the fields in the background and accentuated the grasses in the foreground. The bold cottage works so well.

Peter, I think you should paint more landscapes like this one. It is really good.

One of your best Peter. It may not be your usual subject with the greenery but it works beautifully.

Hang on Studio Wall
