Thank you everyone for your encouraging comments. It was rewarding to overcome several "hurdles" in both draughtsmanship and technique when painting this picture and another example of the wonderful learning curve that one continually experiences in art. Geoff

Hang on Studio Wall

Wandering through a local Garden Centre these two elderly sisters presented a lovely subject as they carefully selected their geraniums. I was only armed with my mobile phone so imagery was limited. However I had enough to compose this oil painting, a print of which I intend to offer to the ladies in due course.
