A place I know well Geoff as I am a frequent visitor there. one I hope to draw myself in the future. I like the way you have captured the henge with the snow laying in the ditches. Definitely a place full of atmosphere with the Iron age and the ruins of the Christian church in the middle. It has a almost spooky feeling when you are there. nice watercolour Geoff.

I meant to say oil painting Geoff, sorry.

A beautiful piece Geoff.

This a commissioned oil painting following my recent watercolour from the same view. The church with it's henge and barrow has a very mystical aura particularly with its orientation to sunrise.
