The Ferryman(After Edward Hopper)
Having now put the finished touches to this 20" x 16" oil painting, I am uploading it again into my gallery. Not everyone's cup of tea I suspect but it appealed to me to try it in the "slabby" style of the late American artist Edward Hopper. He is most famous for "Nighthawks" but a quick view of his wider portfolio will give a better idea of how I am 'adopting' his treatment. Having said that it's still me on the business end of the brush!!
