That's a great skill you have and such an eye for detail!

My God, the work! I won't ask the usual "how long did it take?", because you have to have a certain kind of mind to paint something like this, I don't have it, and I wouldn't have attempted it. But if I would have found it an absolute chore to paint, it's still a delight to look at. Not only that, but it's just my sort of shop - a good cup of tea, served in china cups from leaf tea in a proper teapot: and with buns, and cakes..... and service at the table: how could it fail?

Certainly sets the scene!

Sad to say I have recently heard that this marvellous tea shop has closed down which is a great shame.
