Well done and for keeping the buildings quite small

I have spent many a happy holiday in Skye (until the midgies finally won!) I think your painting really captures the magnificance of the Cullins and the little dotted white houses that are typical of the landscape. A very nice painting.

Thanks for the comment. This painting is not my usual style as it mixes some areas of control - the buildings - with some areas painted quite loosely. As a matter of interest this painting is of a view from the mainland (in Glenelg) near to my home. The hills of Skye are actually "across the water". Pete
