Seascape II by peter jones

Hi Peter, these are such wonderful beaches, I know so well because I live on the Hebrides, near Isle of Harris. The lacy effects are magical. I like this one, well done!

Debbie, thanks for your comments. The painting above and the one done on textured canvas are of a beach near me on the west coast of the mainland (the left land mass is mainland, the right is Skye), the other two are of Harris. It's been too long since we've been to Lewis and Harris, we must go again.

Yes I like this one we can all relate to the sea colour in this one Peter!

Love this one Peter, especially the detail of the wave and water surface, but what I like the most is the tonal contrast. Have tried this subject with coloured pencils, enjoyed it that much that I have another one sketched up ready.
