A view from a beach in the West Highlands. On the right is Skye, on the left the mainland, the body of water is "the Sound of Sleat". The sea here is often coloured by peat washing off the mountains, hence the touch of colour in the wave. This view is endlessly changing and this is one of a number of paintings I have done from this viewpoint.
