Thankyou for your comments Lyn and Linda. I feel that with a subject such as this one, which is a bit experimental, it is important for me to make a simplified expressive statement in an hour or two and achieve something creative and not to get bogged down in the actuality of the subject. It is a process of discovery more than anything.

Continuing on with yesterdays theme ie. steam engines I have painted this in a very loose style. I will use a subject like this and explore it in different ways.In this painting I have used a very loose approach and I am happy with what I have achieved.It is close to the style that I want to achieve in painting with watercolours.
