Watercolour on Arches NOT paper. 140lb. 1/2 Imperial. This is the watercolour I said I'd have a go at after my quick sketch on Thursday. A limited palette of Ultramarine, Burnt Sienna, Raw Sienna, Light Red, and a couple of Daniel Smith colours Shadow Violet and Tiger's Eye (very appropriate). Finished off with a touch of White Gouache. I love the way that the Daniel Smith paint granulates (that marbly effect in the background if you didn't know) I think I'll have to invest in more of DS paints.
