140lb should take a wash Pete. Lovely drawing - my type of machinery!

2B pencil sketch. Been sketching in the garden this afternoon. I took this picture yesterday evening as the farmer was busy gathering in the silage and bailing it. Fascinating machine. Sketched with a 2B pencil on Snowdon cartridge paper. Not tried this paper with a wash, but it should be excellent as it's quite heavy for cartridge paper at 140lb. I fancy having a go at a watercolour of this on Thursday at art group.
